Germany's Growth Accelerates

Germany's economic recovery accelerated in the third quarter, as the rebound in world trade encouraged companies to rebuild inventories and stop cutting investment.

The Federal Statistics Office, Destatis, said Tuesday that gross domestic product, the standard definition of all goods and services produced by an economy, grew 0.7% in seasonally and calendar-adjusted terms from the previous three months, confirming its original estimate.
